Goal Zero Spark Solar LED Flashlight with Integral Carabiner Clip

I worked for the first week or so. Left it in the sun. Does not work now after a cpl months, never got to use it. I have junky Chinese PV powered LED flashlights that have worked for years, that I leave in on the window sills of my off grid cabin that work great. Very disappointing for a Goal Zero Product.

No surprise these are not made anymore because they are terrible. Do not hold charge, do not last but a minute or two and not worth 10 cents. If you run across any of these, Save Your Money. You will be frustrated and very disappointed. I purchased 4 at once and it was a BIG MISTAKE. They are really BAD.

I received one of these from Tread Lightly as a renewal gift. Took it out of the box and pushed the switch to see how bright it was. During daylight it appeared to be not too bad. Left it in the window ledge to keep charged(Monument, Colorado lots of sunlight) picked it up the other day and it's a no go. Never even used it. Don't waste your money.

I ordered 10 solar keychain flashlights. Only 6 worked straight out of the box. I put them in sunlight for 2 days and 3 more worked. I put the last one out for another day and it still failed. I called customer service. They are extremely helpful. a new one arrived before Christmas. I suggest they get a QA person to test every item before shipping. I have bought 3 solar backup generators by the same company from Costco - they too needed charging before use but now work great.

From the moment I took it out of the box, it didn't work. Charged it a full day in the sun and it still didn't work. It's a total piece of junk. Don't waste your money!

I ordered and got two lights, one is working pretty well. The light output is decent for inside, and small distances. It could be a little bit brighter. I've not had to recharge it yet. One of the lights I ordered didn't work at all. I've left it in the window for a while now, in Texas summer sun and so far it's a no go. I'm thinking about contacting GoalZero for maybe a replacement. If your looking for a bit more light then I would say go with the bigger solar flashlight they offer. It's got nice light output and a long 2 hour life. It can be recharged in a full day, if you have nice clear skies.

I really like this little flashlight. It did not work out of the package. My Wife put it outside on our patio table for an hour in the sun and it works like a charm. Very neat flash light. If it works great over time I will buy 4 more. I am surprised how light it is, feels like a feather.

I would and did not send the two units back. Why, because it would cost me more that going down the local hardware store to replace them. Never worked after they came out of the box and never worked after leaving them on the kitchen counter and under the patio for several days.

I lay the flashlight on the window sill when I open the drapes in the morning. In the evening I close the drapes and put the flashlight in my pocket. It is ready to use. The small, flat design makes this flashlight easy to keep in my pocket. I have given several as gifts to ages 07 through 90. The kids think it is super science. The elderly like not having to mess with batteries.

I own five of the flashlights because of their utility. As long as the flashlights are stored in a lighted location they solar charge and never need batteries. I travel the world extensively and find them to be one of the handiest items in my travel kit. They are small, light, bright and always ready to go. Additionally, they have an integrated caribenar type attachment that is very handy.

I love this solar re-chargeable led light. It charges fast,It will hold a charge for weeks and work every time. The dual led lights are bright enough to see every thing in a dark room, or following a trail in the woods. I clip mine to my dog's collar. It charges all day , and lets me know where she is at night. Also I have one in each of my vehicles clipped to the rear view mirror charging in the sun and ready at a moments notice.
