I wish the GEPE Basic and the GEPE extreme could hold 6 cards instead of just 4, but they offer great protection. The GEPE Basic is thinner than the GEPE Extreme so it fits in pockets better and seems to be almost as safe as the Extreme. I don't think it will float, but it tightly closes to keep out dust, sand or dirt and is tough when dropped.

My Gepe that holds 3 sd cards is great!!! This one for 4 cf's is disappointing. Cards fit too tight. The clasp is weak.

I have at least 7 of the wonderful storage boxes for different size media cards. I just added a camera that shoots the smaller SDHC cards to my lineup, so I purchased 3 of the Gepe Basic Card Safe for 4 Memory Cards. When I open the card safe, I can instantly see which cards are shot and which are not by putting the ones ready to shoot face up, and the ones already shot face down. When I close the card safe, I can feel the seal lock into place. I highly recommend Gepe Card Safes.

Good price for a good strong, tight storage box. I don't know if it is waterproof like my other GEPE, but this has a snug fit seal and is styled right to fit in a clothes pocket as well as a camera bag pocket. Bought two!
