Excellent produce: best I have ever used
It is used with my Garman 1490 GPS in two different vehicles. Haven't had the GPS slide off of the dash board since I started using it.

Great mount - just buy it
I've never been a fan of mounts in cars. Either they're made with sticky backs, they block my view through the windshield or they rattle around on my a/c vents. But this mount is the best. Simple weight and friction hold in place on your dash and it really stays put until you want to move it. There's not much else to say about a mount. It just works.

holds gps on the dash with no sliding
love the portability--able to easily move from one car to another. also nice to put on console for a backseat passenger to program new addresses, destinations, while leaving the driver completely focused on the driving!

Outstanding product, a must have for me
Unit stays steady on the dash and holds the gps firm. It is easy on and off when placing gps. We need something like this in California, which doesn't allow window mounting.

I would buy this product again.
This has the weight, holding power, and ease of use I wanted for using my GPS while traveling. Much better than using that suction mount on your windshield (any leaving that telltale mark). Well worth the money.

Best price around
We drive a 2006 Honda Civic, and the windshield is slanted way forward, and the dash is not the right shape for the usual mount for the Garmin. This friction mount was the perfect solution and it is secure and perfect for our vehicle.

Useful product
This product is a must for anyone who has a Garmin GPS. I love it. It took 2 secs to put together and it's so easy to use the GPS now. Now I can take the GPS out of the car without any hassle. Only complaint is that it's just a tad bit bulky but that's alright. It never moved even during tight turns. It feels well built also.

This item works perfect.
I had one but it was with my Garmin 360 that was stolen from my car Thanksgiving night. I tried using the suction cup & disk that came with my new Garmin 760 replacement but it would come loose and drop the GPS to the floor. I immediately ordered a new friction mount and now it rides safely on the dash just like my old one did. I just hide it now when not in the car.
