Product did not work. Light meter battery couldn't screw on with adaptor and included batteries inserted. Money spent a waste

I am not sure how to review this as when I put it in the old Luna Pro it read consistantly two stops over what it should. Since I had no other Luna Pro to compare I elected to recalibrate the meter using info from several web sites. It now works reasonably well but I will always wonder If I got a dud conversion kit(or was my Luna Pro that far off?). I decided to keep this but the cost seems unreasonable as well.

I needed a battery replacement for my Konica Autoreflec TC. Regular batteries are the wrong voltage, so after some research I found this as a replacement. It drops the voltage just right to get the meter to work properly. I had to sand .005" off of it to get it to fit properly.

I thought my old Luna Pro was a thing of the past until I found this. Without the adapter using different batteries, my readings weren't accurate, but now they're dead on.

With the change in battery voltages on commonly available power sources an excellent meter was rendered obsolete. Now this little device fixes the problem so 1.5 volt batteries restore the meter to working condition. A bit costly but worth it.

With mercury cells off the market, this allows you to continue to use your Luna Pro light meter by stepping down the voltage of alkaline cells. Zinc air is an alternative, but those cells constantly discharge once unsealed. Would give 5 stars if the price were more realistic.

I purchased this adapter about 15 years ago. It is simple in design; fits the batery compartment with precision; and supplies the Luna Pro with the proper current/voltage it needs from "357" batteries. If you have an older Luna Pro that operated on the old Hg batteries, this is for you.

Restored my Gossen Luna Pro to excellent working condition. Had been setting for several years due to inability to find local battery replacements. I now use it all the time, both with Digital and Film cameras.
