The anti-twist screws prevent accidental loosening of heads, releases or cameras mounted on the monopod. A spring-loaded combination 1/4 and 3/8" camera thread assures easy handling under all conditions and the adjustable hand strap provides additional safety.

Security strap attached to each monopod protects it from accidentally falling. Please place your hand through the strap and hold the non-slip foam rubber sleeve while using. The monopod can be hung on the wall by the strap for storage, or tied down to a handrail, backpack or case.

Problems out of the package

By

from Southeast TX  -  Photo Enthusiast

Had to return it due to defects in manufacturing. Immediately I noticed the camera was wobbly mounted on a Giottos ball head. The head mount was loose - apparently the glue used in the monopod didn't hold. Makes me nervous about ordering a replacement so I returned it for a refund.

Light, sturdy, solid construction

By

from Raleigh, NC  -  Pro Photographer

Collapsed, it's quite short and easy to carry on my backpack. Legs lock up tightly and don't slip. Very sturdy. The lightness is a huge plus when carrying it around for any length of time. I use it with a belt holster to keep it shorter, which works quite well. You don't have to worry about hitting people with it when it's only partially extended. Worth every penny.
