The Giottos MT-9242 Classic Aluminum Tripod is a professional-level tripod that is part of the MT II series. The professional series of MT tripods follow classic styling and incorporate professional features and design.

The material used is classic aluminum, finished in a black and silver hammered paint finish. The top sections of the legs come protected with non-slip foam covers, for better handling in extreme weather conditions. Features like three individual, adjustable leg spread positions and a reversible center column with a bubble level all make this tripod a versatile support tool for a pro SLR camera, be it indoors or outdoors.

The Giottos MH-1001-652 Medium Ballhead is a pro level ballhead similar to the MH-1001, but also includes the MH-652 quick release system. With a load capacity rating of 11 lb (5 kg), this head is ready to support a pro SLR camera system.

Friction of the head can be adjusted to precisely match the equipment in use, making movement and control a cinch. Like all other Giottos ballheads, this head has an independent calibrated pan bed, with separate pan and friction knobs.

The Giottos MH-652 Quick Release Assembly is a compact quick release system that uses a base plate that features three bubble levels to easily and accurately level the camera in any position. The camera plate is released from the base via the 1.75" double action safety lever.
