Great little Tripod
I use this tripod for my P&S camera all the time. It is small enough that both the camera and the tripod fit in a jacket pocket or a belt camera pouch. Great for travel photography. I used this in many dark interiors and came away with some very nice memories.

Nice unit, good for travel photography
good for additional image stabilization. You can leave it on the camera and also use it as a hand grip.

Cool for A series Canons
I really like the "mini-Manfrotto" point and shoot rectangular platform (model number escapes me and is not on device), but this particular three legged wonder is also very cool. A few of the Canon A seies (Canon fan) cameras produce phenominal snap shots, boardering photos, the extra stability and no brainer ease of use simply increases their cabability. The contruction on both is tough as nails. Both also fit just about anywhere (just about), but the Manfrotto takes the edge, as it can stay on the camera. Worth the investment. The technology will not die.
