The Giottos Glass fit exactly
I purchased a damaged Leica M8 (from Adorama) which had no monitor lcd cover. The Giottos Glass fit exactly. I used two to match the thickness of the Leica plastic monitor cover.

All my DSLR'S have them!
Giottos Aegis is actually Schott glass. This company (Schott glass) is a very reliable manufacture of such diverse products i.e. optical & imaging; eletronics; solar technology; defense technology; just to name a few. With that said, this is by far the one of the best LCD protectors on the market!

Great screen protector!
I have a Leica M8.2 and an M9,
The M8,2 has a sapphire screen, so not too worried about scratches.
The M9, however, has what I believe is a plastic LCD screen, with the potential for damage. The Giottos glass screen protector will hopefully give me some peace of mind.

Protected against worries.
Since Leica is not delivering the Sapphire glass anymore on their M cameras, I tried several products to protect the LCD screen of the new M9. All of them appeared to be not good or even bad, except the Giottos Pro glass protector. It stays sturdy on the screen, it is very clear, and its resistance against scratches is great. It is also easy to place, though some accuracy will be advisable. When it's done, one need no longer to worry about any screen.
