The cable is constructed very well and should deter the average thief but probably wouldn't stand up to a pair of bolt cutters. The cable is long enough that you should be able to wrap it around more than one thing for added security.
Secure your Vault without drilling holes
The hardest part, would be getting the hole in the vault to secure the cable... Otherwise, this is a decent cable for the money. Well made, and very strong.
The GunVault Security Cable lets you secure your safe in virtually any location. Simply place one end of the security cable in the slot at the side of the safe when the unit is open and loop the cable around any secure item (bed frame, desk leg, pipe, etc).
