Useful for the right type of mic

I purchased a pair of the H&A compact windscreens as supplement wind protection for my Behringer C-2 pencil mics. They fit nicely over the foam windscreens that were included with the mics and do a fairly decent job of cutting wind. (Pause for immature giggles) They don't add much weight to the microphone and feel well-made. I did purchase two of them on clearance, but I could recommend them even at the regular retail price.

Great for a small shotgun at a great price

Wanted something small for my DSLR when I'm going light and my good but big AT shotgun is too big. This has proven to be a great little mic, both on top of the camera and in tight spots where you can put it on a desktop tripod, hide just out of the shot and, in my case, use a wireless transmitter when I don't want to run a cable. Well worth the small investment.
