The Hitachi CP-RX82 XGA LCD Projector has a powerful 2,200 lumens with a 500:1 contrast ratio that can fill a small to medium living room, meeting room or lecture hall. But that's not what makes it so special. This projector not only accepts and projects NTSC, NTSC 4.43, PAL, PAL-N, PAL-M, PAL-60 and SECAM video signals, it can also do 720p and 1080i high definition. Its international power supply can handle juice from 100V AC right up to 240V AC and offers a multi-language OSD (onscreen display); so basically, it can be used just about anywhere there's electricity. And it's compatible with dozens of PC and Mac video resolution and sync frequencies.

Consider these formerly high-end features. This projector offers Input Naming so you can forget technical designations like Audio In 1 and give it a user-friendly name like "Mike's MP3 Player". It's got both Quick On and Instant Off. It does both 2:3 pulldown and progressive scan. They make your DVDs look their best, achieving quality some people can't distinguish from Blu-ray disc. At 28dB its Whisper mode fan is actually quieter than a whispered conversation.
