Great card reader
This worked the way it was supposed to. It's fast, transferring 500+ photos after a trip out west in record time.

Fast Transfers
This unit really makes a difference in transfer speeds...especially if you have a computer that has FW800 capability (mostly Macs).
Also, this unit has cut into my spare time!! I was using a USB reader before and could do other tasks while waiting for the files to transfer. But now with this reader, I don't have as much spare time because it transfers the files/footage soooooo fast!!

Super fast and great value
I had been just using my computers card reader up until now. After reading about the UDMA cards I went ahead and bout one along with Hoodman card reader. I cant believe I waited so long . I uploaded over a 1000 images in about 4 minutes. All I can think of is how much time I wasted in the past. I highly recommend this reader. It also comes with a adapter for the 6 pin fire wire if you dont have the 9 pin.
