Really easy to use. Ingenious design in how it collapses. It makes the built-in flash almost usable for basic portrait fill, but I still would not recommend that if other options are available. For shooting people this would be emergency-only use. Where it excels, however is to add fill-flash assistance for macro shots when you don't have access to a ring flash. It pulls part of the light from the built-In flash down and around the lens. It is compact enough to tuck into any pouch on your camera bag. Buy it. Stuff it into your bag. It's cheap and someday you'll be very glad that it's there. If nothing else it makes a great fan on hot days.
