Garbage

Initially it worked fine but soon lost charge retaining capacity. Two out of ten leaked. Charge will drop suddenly. Threw these away and bought Rayovac hybrid, very happy with performance.

Surprised me

I needed some backup batteries for my emergency radios. Main goal was to pick up some inexpensive ones to have in the radio while the others were charging. These last longer than the others and maintain voltage so these have become my primary batteries. Would have never believed something priced this reasonably would perform as well as they do.

Best value for price

Best Ni-MH batteries I have owned. Used with my Canon 430EX Speedlight on my EOS 30D. Don't miss a single flash at 5 fps for the camera's max 27 frames. Other batteries miss at least 5 or 6 flashes of the 27. These are a must have.

Best Recharging AAs

These batteries are now made at 2950 mAh. i was always happy w/ them at 2900 mAh, and now there is a bonus. Use for SB-800 speedlights.

Good initial experience

Although I used these batteries after charging them for the first time, they did not loose charge lying unused for 2-3 weeks, which came as a major surprise for me. My brother used Sony 2500 Mah batteries (a year old) in his camera and they loose charge in days. I am very pleased with this purchase so far. Also, I am using these batteries in a toy for my kid and they are going strong after 2 weeks of usage. Hope these batteries do not disappoint me in the long run.

Amazing Batteries

These take a while to charge but it is all worth it. Four batteries last me an entire day of shooting. The camera is can be on an entire 12 hours nonstop. Best investment you can make.

Best Price on this product

Over the past few years I've used about 16 of these batteries in the lower 2000 mAh version. While they didn't last nearly as long as advertised (perhaps 25 chargings vs. 1000 before very noticeable deterioration!) I believe this is the case with most all rechargeables. However, based upon the low relative price and the fact that none have ever actually LEAKED on me (like other ones I've read about) I just purchased twenty of the 2900 mAh capacity. Perhaps figure that some won't perform equally as well but, overall, you're getting a much better deal, currently at 10 for [$]

Pricey, but you get what you pay fore.

Purchased these at the Dayton hamvention of 2007. My wife uses two of them in her digital camera and I use the other eight in my six watt Icom hand held transceiver (model T2H). I use my radio often and these batteries last a good deal longer between chargings than any other that I have ever tried over the past three years. (These are stil in use as of today).

Great capacity

If performance holds up over time, best value in Ni-MH AAs I've used.

More Power and Less Expensive

I have been using the Adorama batteries in my Canon EX580 and EX580II flashes with great results. They have out performed other batteries by providing more flashes with quick recycle time. They work great and are available at a great price.

Perhaps not all they're cracked up to be

Attaining a full charge takes longer than one expects; then the battery runs down even sitting on the shelf. Perhaps this is an early experience that is unrepresentative -- I've had similar experiences with other rechargeables -- and maybe several depleting-recharging cycles are needed before the batteries perform as expected. However, this performance limits their use to less demanding situations where usage is limited and frequent recharging is possible.

Aged inventory, a rip off

I test the ten batteries with the latest Powerex and La Crosse battery tester. One of them has such a high impedance that indicates extremely aged battery that cannot be revived and should be thrown away. All others cannot be charged more than 1500 mAH despite multiple attempts to break-in and refresh the batteries with the above mentioned battery testers (using IEC standards for testing batteries). They are not anywhere near the stated capacity of 2700 mAH. [...] I feel cheated.I think people who give this product high rating do not have objestive equipment to test the batteries.
