Great Product!!!! They ran out and stopped selling them before I could buy more of them. They work as well as the Nikon brand and maybe lasts a little longer.

As a journalist who, due to cuts in staff, found myself having to learn how to take photos, it is good having a back-up power source. The battery is long-lasting and easy to insert, with little lost time switching batteries.

Against my better judgement, I purchased this paperweight as a second battery for my battery grip. Like everybody else has said, it won't charge and is now taking pride of place at the bottom of my bin. I'm in Australia so it's hardly worth the hassle of sending it back to have it replaced. Go genuine!!!

This battery is perfect for the price. It has out performed my expectations. I have only charged it once since it arrived, about 1 1/2 months ago, and it's still shows full. I have taken about 220 raw images and I spend quite a bit of time tweeking the setting on my SB-600 during the process. I use a D80. So all you D80 users that need a second battery, this is the one.

Battery is listed as a replacement for the Nikon EN-El3e but it isn't. It may work for some Nikon cameras that use the EN-EL3e but not all. Buyer Beware!!

kind of a big hassle to exchange a brand new battery that does not work for one that does.

Received as a back-up in a Nikon D90 kit. Didn't hold a charge. Received replacement which also didn't hold a charge. When I asked customer service they said there is a problem with the chip [...] they said the whole batch is bad - do not buy!

I have not been able to use this product at all. I fully charged the battery to use as a backup for my Nikon D90. the indicator showed it to be fully charged but when I placed in into my camera, the display shows no charge. Even after multiple attempts to recharge, the battery failed to hold a charge. This battery has been absolutely useless for me. It came as a part of a package I bought so I have not yet complained but I absolutely would not recommend this battery to anyone. Save your money.

3rd party products can be scary but this works great in my D200

It works well, but is a tight fit to the Nikon charger. It fits the D80 better, but still a bit tight. You have to give it a shake to get it out. I have both Nikon and Adorama grips, and it fits those with no problem.

I need a spare battery for when I go out of town and occasions like that -- for weddings and other family gatherings and it is not always easy to obtain a recharge.

I realized quickly that I needed a battery back-up so I bought 2. They have come in handy. Everyone should have one.

This battery came in a kit. I was hesitant with the mixed reviews I have read, but decided to take a chance anyway. Much more affordable, I am glad I did.

Not bad for the lower price for a back up, but if you are going to have a long day, get the Nikon brand.

I ordered a Nikon D80 kit from Adorama that comes with a Nikon battery. But also ordered this battery as a backup. I just started using it several days ago and it seems that this battery works pretty well. I will use it as a nice backup battery, because you can not have only one battery in your camera bag when you travel. Also, many thanks to Adorama for their professional and sincere help. Adorama is a trustable good company.

I purchased this replacement battery to fill up a D-80 Battery Grip, and it performs just fine... I've used it independently and with the grip, and had no issues. In NH, the cold gets nasty, and the battery didn't seem to be negatively affected by cold on outdoor shoots any more than the original Nikon one. It gets and average because, well, it's just a battery.

It worked okay the first charge up, but then would never charge but half-way, even though the charger light indicated a full charge had been reached. It's an inexpensive alternative to a Nikon, but not if it lasts for only 2 hours of shooting.

Bought this battery several months ago, try to use it today: no way. The battery charger says the battery is full. The D80 says the battery is totally empty.

The battery is a direct replacement. Charge time, and amount of shots compares favorably with the Nikon branded item. I gave it 4 stars because nothing is perfect........ but this works like it should.
