I'm very disappointed with this battery. After full charge I used this battery only one time and stopped at the most inappropriate moment - while shooting in the school of my son. I would never recommend to buy this staff. I've decided to buy original battery. If you buy cheaply, you pay dearly.

It is often helpful to have extra camera batteries, especially when in the field and taking lots of photos. The Flashpoint batteries have proven to be effective and economical replacements for the manufacturer's brand.

I'm a fairly serious photographer, I use this battery in my DSLR a LOT. It works well, the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that it discharges a bit faster than the OEM battery. But at the price, it's a good buy.

This is a battery, and all I can say is that it holds a charge, is reliable, and works just fine. I've bought several of these and have no complaints.

This battery did not hold as much charge as a regular Canon battery, but worked fine as a back-up battery for a significantly lower price.

I bought this as a backup to the one that came with my T1i. When I used it in my camera, it died after about 15-20 minutes of use (where my original battery lasts hours). It was also bloated-like so it gets stuck in the camera and is difficult to get out. Maybe I just got a bad one??

I have seen two problems with this aftermarket battery. First is that it doesn't always charge fully or at all. Sometimes, it shows the green light (fully charged) a few minutes after putting it into the charger. It remains mostly discharged. This battery is sufficiently different to the Canon-brand battery that the charger doesn't recognize it properly. The other issue is that after about 1 year of light use, it started to bulge. Some chemical reaction inside is causing it to expand slightly. Now it will no longer fit into the battery compartment of the camera. If i place it on a flat table, it will wobble, and not sit flat. Not recommended.

I use this battery for my Canon DSLR camera and the best thing about it is that the life of the battery is really long. After fully charging it, I don't need to re-charge it for weeks even if I don't use the camera everyday or every week. In comparison, the battery for my Sony DSC-W290 has to be recharged if I don't use it for weeks and then it has to be recharged again after a whole day of use.

I received an e-mail ad from Adorama offering the battery for [...]and thought even if it didn't last it was still cheaper than AA batteries. I used it for 2 1/2 days at Bosque del Apache, in January 2011, on only one charge. The early morning temperatures ranged from 12 to 17 degrees F. I was using a Canon T1i (also purchased from Adorama). I brought my Canon batteries thinking they would hold up better in the cold conditions,but did not have to use them.

Bought these batteries as a back up batteries and they served me well after shooting for 5 hours, switched to the two I just bought and they finished out the last four hours with plenty of power left in them. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Charges quickly, and has a long life.I leave the camera on while I shoot my products. I did multiple photo sessions before the low battery warning came on. I must have shot 800 or more photos on high setting!

I use the battery to power my CanonT1i. The battery is ready to deliver when I are ready to shoot. I don't have to turn off my camera to conserve power while while I am waiting for a bird to come to the feeders or my Grands to get a natural smile. Also,it recharges very quickly[...] but the Power-2000 is not available just anywhere.

This works as a second battery, but having used it for only one cycle so far, I'm not yet convinced that it has the same life per charge as an original Canon battery. But at the price it it's seems hard to beat.
