Glad to find a generic alternative

Having extra batteries in the camera bag is a necessity (and typically means that the one in the camera will last through the shoot). Not much to say except: 1. It fits 2. It works 3. It's cost effective compared to the brand name

Works like the original Canon battery!

Purchased two of these batteries as spares for my Canon camera. They charged. They fit the camera body. They functioned the same as the original equipment and I had no problems with them holding a charge. At this price, it would be very difficult to recommend buying original equipment instead of the Flashpoint product.

A can't miss item

I received my batteries quickly and just as quickly charged one up. I put it my camera the next morning and went out to do some COLD weather photography (f.5 degrees) The battery functioned perfectly and stood up to the cold weather. The true test of an exceptional item. Oh, and did I mention that the price was one eight the price of similar batteries ? At that price throw two extras in your camera bag and never worry about running out of battery again.

Battery

Pretty good battery especially considering the low cost compared to the Canon name brand.

It's Ok

I upgraded from the Digital Rebel XT to the 7D. I just cant get rid of my old camera, even if I never use it. Canon has the better battery. This one doesn't last long. It works good when its working. But it will not hold a charge after a short time. If your in need of a battery for a low cost. Then this is the battery for you. Otherwise, buy Canon.

not as good as Canon

Bought as a #2 battery to back up the original. Original holds and takes a better charge.

Seems comparable to others incl OEM

This was my first experience with this brand, and I have to say that the very low price made me a little bit skeptical. But so far, so good. I have taken this on a couple of shoots & do not notice any difference between it and those I had been buying before, including Canon.

Great extra battery...

Great as an extra battery or a second battery to use in the BG-E3 Battery Grip.

Emergency backup

I bought two, one doesn't hold charge, you get what you pay for. Just charge it the day you plan on using it.

Canon battery

I wish it came with a small carry holder like the Canon battery.

Adorama NB-2LH Battery Works Fine.

I use this battery with my Canon Digital Rebel XT. It works well. I have not noticed any difference in the performance of the Adorama battery compared to the Canon brand NB-2LH rechargeable batteries.

Problems right out of the wrapping

Bought 3 of these batteries. 2 of them charged just fine, but 1 the charger won't even recognize. Haven't had the chance to actually use them to see what the lifespan is of the two batteries that actually did charge up, but not impressed that one was dead on arrival. If the other two work as expected it's still a better deal then buying a Canon brand battery, but I wouldn't risk purchasing only 1, not if you have a 33% chance it won't work out of the box.

Not recommended

I bought this battery as a backup battery before my trip to Alaska. I pulled it off the charger, completely charged and it was dead within 50 photos taken in approximately 30 minutes time. What was even worse was this was my backup and I didn't have another backup - lost tons of photo opportunities. Happened to me again at an airshow and again in other settings. Went back to the expensive but RELIABLE Canon battery.

Batteries perform like original

Use batteries constantly and they stand up and recharge just like the original battery. Digital camera is used daily primarily for nature photography while working on cruise boat on salt water with no problems. Been using for 3 months with no problems. [...]

Great Buy

This is a great back up battery for my Canon EOS Xti. It is a fraction of the cost of the Canon version. Fr the past two months, no differences between the Canon and this battery version.

Terrific Value

I bought this after my original Canon Battery no longer charged. My son now uses the XT and he reports better battery performance. Can't beat it for the price.

Not a good product.

Taped over an hour. When put on the charger it was dead and wouldn't register charging. I am hoping the 2nd battery purchased will work.

Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Batteries

I bought these rechargeable lithium-ion batteries for my Canon camera as backup batteries for travel. They are much cheaper than the comparable batteries from Canon. I haven't tried them yet so I can't say how they actually perform. They look similar to the Canon batteries.

A useful emergency backup

A very affordable back-up battery. Somewhat slow to charge, and loses its charge quickly compared to the Canon version. But at 1/4 the price, it's a handy emergency backup that I use frequently.

No long haul

Worked awesome for all uses for about a year to a year and a half. Now I only get about 4 pictures with 2 of these and it's done for.

Doesn't Hold Charge 1 Year Later

A year later, the battery doesn't hold a charge. Frustrating. If it that doesn't bother you, perhaps go for it. Personally, I think it's better to spend your money on a better battery than constantly have to replace this--or worse, find yourself without a good battery in the field!

Great Working Battery

This battery seems to charge faster than the Canon that came with the camera. Also faster than the Canon after-market battery that I had purchased.
