That's the model number for the charger and if you google that, it'll pop up the manual for it. I don't have AAAs, but I'm sure it would work fine; it even says on the back of the charger that the output is compatible for AA and AAA batteries.

Pretty good
It's Sony so quality is guaranteed it's simple and works great. Only thing is you realize that you might need more batteies because of the amount of remotes alarm and different gadgets we use everyday. We tend to neglect the vast amount of batteries we tend to use, heck even my wireless keyboard and mouse use batteries. All in all great product couldn't be happier and frankly expected it being Sony not really surprised but the price is what actually stirred me to actually purchase it.

Nice charger size for traveling, but ...
The charger is the perfect size for putting into a small travel bag and seems durable. However, the batteries themselves that came with charger must be dead because they don't hold a charge very long compared to my other 3 year old set, which is still going strong. I would still recommend the charger at the right price, but not the batteries.

Nice batteries and charger
The charger is nicely designed so that once plugged in, the top socket is still available for use. The charger can charge both AA and AAA batteries. I have not tried this charger with other manufacturer batteries yet. The only con I've discovered so far is that it takes more than 6 hours to fully charge the battery. For a charger, that is pretty slow.

Seems good so far
I've had problems with cheaper batteries in the past but so far these seem to be holding their charge and for the price, can't be beat! Hope they continue to hold their charge for many months to come.
