Great Glossy Paper

I like this paper when I want the fine detail of the image to be revealed with the exceptional brilliance and broad spectrum of color this paper delivers. It is my favorite color paper when I want to present the work as a glossy print.

My Goto Paper

from North Carolina  -  Frequent User

When I want a high gloss print - and not every situation calls for that - this is my go to paper. The blacks are just so deep and rich and the highlights hold detail. I find my black and white prints have a glow that I just have not been able to get with other papers. I use this with my Canon Pixma Pro-100 printer.

Sharp - Good Contrast

I have been using ProPlatinum for several years and really like the results. Most of my work is nature, which I donate to nonprofit fundraisers. I think you will like the results.

I buy this product again and again

from Virginia  -  Frequent User

I buy the 13x19 Pro Platinum exclusively for my Pro 9000 Mark II. The detail and vivid colors could possibly be matched but not beaten. There's two thing that "could" be better, quantity and price. I rarely buy less than two packs, and if they would offer a "double" package at a slightly better cost per sheet, it would also minimize the "price" issue.

I always use Canon.

from Amelia, Va.  -  Heavy Duty User

I'm getting ready for an art show in my small town, and this paper is perfect for some of my work. Its also great for some of the wedding pics I take.

Excellent Product

from Richlands, Virginia  -  Heavy Duty User

I'm a Fine Art photographer. My prints must look "first rate" in order to sell. "Second rate" paper isn't an option. Canon spent millions researching what works best with their equipment so I don't have to. The vibrance and clarity might be matched but not beaten. I only rated a "4 star" due to the cost of the Pro Platinum. But as with most things, people don't seem to mind paying the "extra" for top quality

Good for certain applications

from Fontana, CA  -  Enthusiast

I have yet to frame anything printed on these but on certain shots glossy can look appealing. Prints definitely come out more crisp and vivid compared to Canon's Pro Luster Paper. I can see the glossiness of the surface being an issue with framing but you can just hang the print in a place that doesn't have too much of that issue.

Pleasantly Surprised

from San Diego, CA  -  Frequent User

I used this paper to print the images that I took in Yosemite Park while on vacation. The images printed beartifully. The only drawback to the paper is the green of the trees, it is a bit more brown then the original photo, but using a photo editor in post production this can be corrected.

Canon Platinum photo paper

from Santa Barbara, CA  -  Enthusiast

This is one of Canon's best photo papers. I have a Canon pro 9000 printer and the colors, detail are really nice and smooth with great gradations. Black and white prints are not the best with this paper on a dye printer but I print mostly in color. Highly recommend this paper.

awesome paper

from Pittsburgh, PA  -  Frequent User

This paper adds another level to my photographs, I have been using the plus glossy II, which isn't bad paper, but the pro plus is much whiter and I think it brings out more detail and better color imaging. Price is good and I think I'll be using this from now on. Glad that I tried it. I have been wanting to.

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
ALAN S  It is my high gloss paper of choice when printing on a Canon 9500.
Jean S  How archival is this paper used with a Canon Pro 100 printer?
WILLIAM E  I've only used it with a Canon Pro 9000 Mk II. It has been awesome for me. Someone even spilled some water on a print and it didn't seem to faze it. Best of luck to you.
C. K  Adorama likes to get you to buy a product, then tell you it's "backordered." NOBODY has this paper right now, not even Canon. My question is, Adorama are consummate liars, do you not agree? P.S. Say hi to Meyer!
ROGER A  I have always had a good experience with them. You sound like a unhappy person and probally will always be that way until you set realistic goals with businesses.
