Great image quailty for the price
The weight of this camera is perfect. It has a view finder if it's too bright outside. It has a Histogram! That is a great feature that I use all of the time with my DSLR's and it is a must if you want to know if the exposure is right. The movie is also really good for a Point and shoot as long as you don't zoom, otherwise it is grainy. !2 MP makes for some nice photos. Only thing I don't like is the lack of manual control, it seems like Canon could add that for us who want it. I also like the f-stops, they go from f/2.7-f/11 Not a bad camera.

Small, Inexpensive.....and it's a Canon
I don't use a camera too often....I bought this camera for vacation use, taking pictures around the house use, pic's for Craigslist use......It does the job and then some!

a great point and shoot for the money
For the money this is a camera worth taking a serious look at...Image quality is up to Canon's usual standards. Continuous shooting speed is as good or better than most point and shoot cameras. This camera is great for the casual user or pro as a back-up in case your SLR goes out. Resolution is very good and you do have some limited control in program mode. Overall, I think that there is little spread in image quality in comparing this camera and the other expensive point and shoot....and after all..isn't image quality what it's really all about.

Terrific camera
Very nice camera! I bought it for our holiday trips and was quite pleased with the pictures that it took.

So far it's ok
only thing not working is the slideshow feature on the camra. Right now I just download onto my computer and use the slideshow there. would be nice if it worked on the camra.

Great Camera
I think too many people expect all cameras to be professional class cameras. This is a great camera for the price. It has some great features. It uses double AA batteries which are easy to find. It takes great pictures. If you're looking for a pro camera spend the money to get a pro camera.

I purchased one for myself, then I purchased one for my Niece and family. They were going to DisneyWorld and they loved it. They were so excited, since their old camera (not canon) pooped out. I would highly recommend.
