Love this camera

On a train/bus trip west this summer to see some of our National parks, my previous camera "died" the night before departure. When we got to the first hotel in Salt Lake City I immediately went camera shopping and decided on this model -the Canon Power Shot A4000. I spent 20 minutes reading the manual and then over the course of 11 days I took over 400 beautiful pictures that will be treasured by me forever!!! Thank you, Canon!

Disappointed

On my recent vacation I used this camera for the first time. I bought it as I am a long time Cannon user, this is my 6th Canon camera, and I wanted a simple point and shoot. That means you must remember the bring the charger.

Neat little camera!

By

from KY

Works great for snapshots and family photos--simple to use--pictures are great--however there is some delay when taking a picture and the subject can move and you "lose the moment".

Nothing But Frustration

Wish I had never purchased it. Always too difficult to open door to battery and now trouble purchasing another battery.

I have had this camera ...

By

from Undisclosed

I have had this camera for less than a year and have had it break twice already. The first time the lens wouldn't come out and the second time it wouldn't flash or use any lighting at all so every picture turned out really dark. When the camera was working, it took good pictures and was nice to carry around. It had some good features too. But if it breaks, then they are useless.

Great quality product

By

from Dallas, TX

I love this camera. Quality of pictures are great. Very user friendly. Very durable and a quality product. My only complaint is that there was too much delay between pictures and that on the LCD, the images are grainy, but the pictures turn out great. One of the best, most affordable, cameras I have owned.

I set up my camera quick and easy. I am a causal user but feel the camera is going to be just what I ordered at a great price.
