Does what it's supposed to.
I used this adapter on an SD750 set up to time-lapse a construction site. It worked well as long as I had a power source, I would recommend making sure that your power coming in is reliable. With video, if you lose power, you lose the video. It wouldn't be as much of a problem with still photos.
It does not, however, take into consideration the use of a tripod. The full size tripod I was planning on using will not fit on the SD750 with this installed.
If I redesigned this product, I would use an actual battery with a receptacle for the AC Adapter in the bottom to fix the problems when your power source isn't as reliable as it could be. It's a good product that does what it says it will.
