Essential for GPS cameras
My Canon S100 eats through battery power when using GPS, and especially when also turning on the GPS track, showing your route. I'd say an hour of that will wipe out any S100 battery. So I bought this, and will combine it with a power inverter from Sporty's Pilot Shop (online). The inverter turns your power plug in a car or personal plane to 120 volts AC, and this then plugs in and operates your camera. That way you can see everywhere you drove or flew and where the pictures were taken. In commercial planes, of course, you can't operate a GPS at any time, and the camera only for enroute, not takeoff or landing.

No rocket science on this one.
Nothing really to rate on the product since it is an external power supply, it either works or not... all black or all white. [...].

It's a great accessory.
I like to use it at home in long sessions.
