Works just as advertised

Not a terribly exciting product but it does work just as advertised. Great: It works Not so great: Pretty expensive (captive audience so they can)Sonny

An essential item for me

from Westlake Village, CA  -  Tech Savvy

I do a lot of nocturnal mammal photography, leaving my camera outside for prolonged periods. This enables either AC power or (via a modification) a 12V battery source to keep the camera awake for several days.

Questions about this item:

Luther H  Is the Canon ACK-E4 AC Adapter Kit for the EOS-1D Mark III Digital SLR compatible with the Canon EOS !DX?
LARRY P  The Mk IV charger can only charge the battery for the Mk IV, the LP-E4 battery and its after market cousins. The 1DX charger can charge batteries meant for the 1DX AND the Mk IV so it can charge the LP-E4N battery plus the LP-E4 (the Mk IV battery). Now this begs the question, with the 1DX charger can you charge both the LP-E4N and the LP-E4 battery together. I am aware that one charges first, then the other. Also there is this question, what is the difference in the batteries? I have not researched this but perhaps someone knows.
