Shopper : does anyone have a picture or where I can find one on the internet?JAMES T : Look it up on the internet, (<a href="http://adorama.com" target="_blank">adorama.com</a>). Search on their web site, (battery grip for Canon 6D).WILLIAM C : The grip looks just like the product picture on the Adorama site and like the Canon unit. I own one and it works pretty well with the following limitations 1) the top dial near the shutter button is much easier to turn than the 6D dial. 2) the camera gets confused occasionally and doesn't obey the dial commands. turning the battery grip off or in the extreme removing it helps.NELSON L : Looks pretty much the same as the canon grip... And works just as well
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?JAY K : Couldn't resist $29 price. I have used them before on other cameras and they make vertical shots easy with the shutter button easy to access. I have 2 batteries , so what the heck!

Great investment

I would very much recommend this product. For the price and what you are paying for it works very well. The ergonomics flow very well with the camera itself and the design is just immaculate. Adorama is also a great place to make purchases through as you will get the product quickly and in a professional matter.

Highly recommended (DONT FORGET TO BUY EXTRA BATTERIES)

I loved this! It works very well, and it fulfilled my needs. Although I forgot to buy extra batteries this product still worked great! Well worth the money.

Suckered by the low price

It is only ($) so I took a chance. The canon grips I have work perfectly all the time but the price they charge is highway robbery. I used this grip for a month and it works most of the time but from time to time it prevents the camera from changing shutter speed or f stop depending on what mode you are shooting in. I really shouldn't be too hard to make one of these. Oh well,

Flashpoint battery grip

Style is slightly different than the Canon version, but it is a good fit and functions well. Worth the price. I find it difficult to remove the batteries for recharging. They have to be pried out of their position unlike the Canon version grip. For long or all-day shooting, I'd like to see additional battery holder inserts available for purchase. BTW- the battery holder inserts, though similar in appearance, are NOT interchangeable between brands of grips, namely between the Flashpoint grip and the Green Extreme Grip. This was a disappointment and the cause I gave only 3 stars.

vERTICAL PICS ARE EASIER

This product helps when shooting wildlife in the vertical position. It works well and eliminates awkward shooting positions when triggering the camera.

Great for the price with some problems.

Amazing deal for ($) (price I paid at the time). Works great except for two things. The dial that attaches the grip to the body seems flimsy (compared to the Vello equivalent). The major problem that I am having is that it seems to disable the dial by the shutter button sometimes. I have to use the dial on the battery grip to get my dial on my camera to work again. It can be very frustrating when you are in the middle of a shoot and I can't immediately change the focus location on the camera when needed. Other than that, it's a pretty nice and well made grip.

Budget Priced, Great Quality

Bought this grip for my Canon 7D Mark II to help with stabilization and also battery life as the 7D is a bit hard on batteries. Fit is great, and quality is high. The Canon grip may be a bit better quality of build, but for my use and not wanting to pay multiple times more, this works as needed. Well pleased with the decision to buy.

A great price for more functionality!

I had been wanting to try a battery grip for a number of years as I find myself shooting portrait orientation more than I used to. But I was not ready to pay the price for other brands that got mediocre reviews and risk being disappointed, and I was wary of buying the brand name grip in the event that I hated having the grip on the bottom of my camera. The Flashpoint grip was the right price point to give it a try. I have not used this grip a huge amount yet, but so far I find that I really like having it on my camera. It definitely added to the size and weight of the camera, and it took a little time to get used to. The length of the grip in the palm is greater than the camera is in landscaper orientation without the grip, and that takes a little getting used to. If you have small hands that might be a bit of an issue. If you are a manual shooter and used to changing settings on the fly with the top and back wheels, this will require a little bit of retraining of the fingers and thumb as the relative position of the wheels is changed a bit. Again, small hands may find it difficult to reach all the controls if you are used to making adjustments without having your eye leave the viewfinder. The relative position of the viewfinder is also somehow different too as it seems lower and farther away from your (right) hand then without the grip. Again, not a big deal as it just requires a little bit of muscle memory retraining. The convenience of having the controls available when in portrait orientation is well worth it! If you shoot portrait a lot and are not using a grip, I definitely recommend just going for it and getting one of these. The price is right for a product that fits quite nicely and so far seems very solid. One note: unless I missed something, the instructions included with the grip to remove the battery door from the camera are a bit incomplete. The written instructions and picture suggest that all you have to do is hold the battery door at a 35 degree angle and simply pull it off the camera body. It turns out there is a little sliding lock on the underside of the door that must be used (a fingernail works fine) to disengage the pins that hold the door. Quite easy, but wasn't intuitive for me until I looked it up.

exceptional bargain

Green Extreme battery grip is an extreme bargain compared to what you pay for brand products. Had one for my 60d and shoot thousands of pictures a year until camera died on me but grip continued to function. Would hesitate to buy this product again.

Value, Value, Value

Figured for the price it was worth a try. Can't say anything bad about the grip. Everything works as it should. Had another off brand grip that I purchased for a Canon 7D 3 years ago. That had the bad habit of coming loose from the camera and cutting the power off to the camera. So far this grip stays firmly attached.

Love this battery grip!

This is my second Flashpoint battery grip, the first one I got for my EOS 60D, this one for my 7D mk II. I wouldn't have a dslr without one! They are so comfortable and convenient and they don't hurt your wallet! I plan on getting an EOS 5D mkIII in the future and it will have one too! Thanks Adorama!

Good for the Price

I own a Canon Battery Grip for my 6D and a Flashpoint Battery Grip for 7DmkII. I've only used the Flashpoint Battery Grip once, and that was last Week for a Wedding Shoot. The Flashpoint does not feel quite as good as The Canon, but for such a significantly lower price, you shouldn't expect it to. It worked fine, it just took a bit of getting used to compared to The Canon. The difference was the feeling of how the Shutter Adjustment Wheel felt. It's no big deal. It didn't have quite the "Feel" the Canon Grip does, but there again, it's no big deal. As expensive as Camera Gear can be, I thought I'd give this a try being that it's nearly 1/3 the price of The Canon. I'm not sorry I purchased it. I also own a Flashpoint Rove 600-RLB that I couldn't be more happy with. I bring that up because it's instilled confidence in The Flashpoint Brand.

Functionally an agreeable replacement - and great for the price

Decided to give this unit a try and the ridiculously reasonable price. It functions just as the true Canon grip does, in that you carry 2 batteries and gain a vertical grip. The side tray entry is taking some time to get used to, and you don't get the battery info.

Not as advertised

Ordered this because it was advertised for the Canon 80D, however thr box I revieved was labeled to work with 70D. Although it does power the camera, the battery level will not display. I contacted customer service and was told they would investigate and get back to me in a couple days, but it's been over a week and nothing yet. I have found out this is a problem in general with the 80D and 3rd party grips, but it shouldn't be listed to work with a certain model whrn it doesn't fully function. Very frustrated!

Battery Grip

I have used Vello battery grips for years. It was time to replace, but since I purchased a new camera, I just added the flashpoint battery grip to the purchase. It just feels a tad cheap in the plastic. It does the job. The biggest thing that I don't care for, is when you tighten the grip, it doesn't stay tight. I'm always tightening it as the day goes on. It doesn't totally loosen, it's just not a snug fit. That's my only complaint, if you want to call it that.

Poor quality, batteries not recognized

Bought this as part of a package with Canon 80D; the camera can't recognize Canon OEM batteries when used with the grip. I can still force the camera to accept the batteries but in non-OEM mode only - no control/information about batteries' status

So Far So Good

The color and texture matches a lot more closely than other non-Canon battery grips. Some essential functions are available on the grip, but they didn't try to pack too many extra buttons. Though I probably won't have a need for it, it's good to have the AA Battery insert as well. It would come in handy when you have no other way to charge your camera.

Performed well compared to other grips

Performed well in my tests comparing battery grips for the Canon 5D Mark III. You can see the study comparing this grip with the Canon, Vivitar and Vello at pietrzyk.us

Work just like the expensive ones!

By KNeff

Amazing, it's like an exact replica of the ones that I have on the cameras I just sold. They cost $130+. If it wasn't for the great reviews I never would have purchased, I have always purchased name brand. Saved so much that I ended up buying more of the nice to have stuff!

The Flashpoint Professional Power Battery Grip for the Canon EOS 6D DSLR Camera is an optional but essential accessory with excellent ergonomics, designed specifically for the Canon EOS 6D DSLR.

It all starts with intelligent links to camera functions. The grip matches the design and feel of your camera while doubling the battery power with a twin cell chamber that can load a choice of one or two battery packs. This is especially useful when taking advantage of the camera's Movie mode or Live View mode - selections that put more demand for power on your batteries. Your uptime will besignificantly better compared to using a single LP-E6 pack. In addition, with the included battery magazine, you can also run the camera off six AA batteries.

The non-slip rubberized grip offers perfect balance in any direction with full vertical shooting controls, which can be independently turned on or off as the photographer needs to enhance camera handling, especially for shooting vertical pictures - not videos, please. The grip has generous operating controls as well:shutter button, Main Dial, multi-controller, AF point selection button, AE lock/FE lock button, AF start button, and multi-function button. The base of thegrip has a standard 1/4-20 tripod socket and a hand strap mount. Your camera's original battery door fits snugly in a protective hidden slot for instant retrieval.
