I bought this camera as a back up for my 7D. There are places very rugged or wet that I didn't want to risk my much more expensive camera. This camera (which I bought "refurbished") looks brand new and works fine! Just what I wanted with NO surprises.

I have a couple of more expensive Canon DSLR cameras, but I take this one when fishing or hiking.

I was looking into upgrading from the xti to this last summer; I really like the features (especially the bigger LCD screen) and the size and weight is perfect for my small hands. Not needing the video features of the recent upgrades, I finally snatched this up. After opening the box, I couldn't believe this was a refurb. It's in PERFECT condition; far better than any floor model I've come across. When there's a refurb available from Adorama, I can't imagine ever finding a good reason not to save the money and go with it. I'm extremely pleased.

Great bang for the buck at [$]. Works like a charm and takes outstanding photos, especialy when paired with a Nifty Fifty. I got the camera and a couple of lenses for under $600 AND I can use my old lenses from my 15-year-old EOS Rebel. I'm a pretty happy camper.

This camera replaced my beloved old original EOS, which I am going to bronze and keep near my bed. I've a Canon gal through and though and am so pleased with my XSi. It's light and small--I can throw it in my purse, nearly--and for a DSLR doesn't weigh a ton. I have two small kids. Hauling them, lenses, toys, snacks, batteries, and my wallet (to buy more camera stuff) is a bother. This camera, however, is super. Fits the bill perfectly and couldn't beat the price.

I didn't even hesitate to order this camera with the great reviews that it got. [...] It takes great pictures, easy to use and fits my old 35 mm Canon lenses. It's a great camera!

I am so pleased with this camera. I bought it to replace my Canon Rebel XTi that my son 'borrowed' and couldn't be happier. Don't hesitate to purchase Canon refurbished - I couldn't tell the difference and it functions perfectly.

Camera works like new, looks like new. Its has a refurbished sticker on the bottom that's it. Takes brilliant pictures, i use it with tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, Got the 2 year Adorama warranty with it and its still comes out cheaper then other retailers.

The refurbished Canon XSi is as good as a new one with the benefit of saving some money for other toys like lenses. This made my XTi my backup/second body. The two fit together just fine.

If you are worried about buying refurbished let me put you at ease. My XSI body arrived looking brand new. The shutter had been fired only 31 times. I would have been nervous about buying refurbished if it were anywhere but Adorama. I trust these fine people and they never let me down. I upgraded from the 300D so the improvement in image quality is amazing. The focus is fast and the menu system is well planned. I added the Flashpoint battery grip to give the body some susbstance and I'm delighted. From beginner to advanced pro, this fine little camera will deliver for you!

I bought a Canon Rebel XT, then an XTi. Wanting the live view function and a larger LCD I bought a refurbished XSi....it is perfectly adequate for most any amateur application and works great with my Canon "L" lenses. I can't think of anything more I really need in a camera at this time.

I've been feeding the hummingbirds in my backyard for some time now...and still have not gotten just the right shot! Now, I'll use this camera, along with my new Ef-100mm lens & new radio remote...opens up new opportunities for some great shots!

If it weren't for the sticker that said "refurbished" there is no way to distinguish it from a new camera. Everything is in excellent condition, no scratches no defects. Adorama is the best source for all your needs. I ordered this and chose free shipping (7-10 days)and I received it in 1 business day.

A nice set of features for the price. I wish the focusing speed was faster. I thought by now the speed would have trickled down from the higher end Canon models. Camera is very simple to use. If you have ever used any Canon EOS model you will be using this one with ease in five minutes or less.

I would never hesitate to buy refurb. again! It is wonderful! other than the little sticker on the bottom, you would NEVER know! Any problems i have with getitng a good photograph is user error, not b/c of the camera! it can do way more than i can! =)

I took this camera to mexico on vacation. The size was somwhat of a hinderence at times. But having owned the 35 mm version I expected that. I didn't buy the image stablization lens and needed a very steady hand for some shots. Overall the camera performed great. It looks and acts like a new camera.
