The 67 mm filter adapter arrived promptly and in good shape. I appreciate that Adorama communicated when it was shipped and when it was delivered as it was left on my porch with no doorbell ring. I can recommend Adorama to anyone ordering camera parts by mail.

I was disappointed that Canon did NOT provide this adapter with the original camera purchase. This was an unexpected hassle so that I could then attach a filter to protect the lens from dust and scratches.

I bought this so I could use a polarizer. I take a lot of pics in the bright sun and high altitude make it a must. I coupled it with a Hoya circular polarizer. Works fine and is a lot cheaper than Canon brand filters. Over $ for a circular polarizer is insane.

It was a little hard to get the bayonet locking ring to turn, but after it locked in place, it was nice and tight to the lense

It fits snugly onto my SX-60. Just be careful to not over tighten the filters onto this adapter. If you do that, the adapter comes off the lens when your try to remove the filter. I've learned to attach the filters just finger tight. Barely. I just check them once in a while to make sure they're not coming off.

The filter adapter screwed easily onto the lens of my Canon SX-50 HS and allows the use of regular 67mm filters (polarizing, UV etc). Once the adapter is on, however, you cannot use the sun hood. Also, like other reviews I have read, you really need to buy an adapter for each filter as it is virtually impossible to separate the adapter and the filter once it is screwed on. Kind of a pain, but worth it for me to protect the lens and take advantage of the filter effects.

I wanted this to be able to use a polarizer on the SX 50HS. It fits perfectly and works as expected. I bought it from Adorama because of their customer service, fair pricing and fast shipping. Will order from Adorama again and again

It's just what I needed. Using on an SX10IS but tested against the latest too just in case I upgrade camera. I had a 3rd party version but it handles a smaller (58mm) filter which caused vignetting. This ring with the 67mm filter works perfectly. Easy on, easy off. So why only 4 stars? It's a Canon accessory. Should have been included with the camera, or the camera designed to allow filters in the first place.

Attaches to the Powershot SX 50 HS lens and allows using 67 mm (i.e., way bigger) filters. It does work. But it's clunky. First, there's not an obvious Tab A, Slot B kind of attachment. Even when you see it, you have to feel around for it. Second, you have to take the adapter and filter combination off to put the lens cap back on. Still, the combination package (filter, adapter, camera) is way lighter than a DSLR.

It does what it is supposed to do but not very well. I read all the reviews about how it doesn't stay attached - and they were all correct! I've put some rubber cement on the ring when I use it to help it stay attached. Rubber cement is removeable and has been working ok for me so far. The nice thing is that it lets me share filters with my other lenses.

Purchased 2 to protect the lenses on both of my cameras (Canon SX20IS and SX50HS). Easy to attach, along with aftermarket lens hoods and Canon lens caps. This item fits other PowerShot cameras besides what is specified of the cameras listed, check your owners manual for details.

I had read in review that it would not come off. Fitting it on gently does the trick. No trouble getting it off or on. The filter attaches easily.
