Shopper : How much to print an A4 in average?GEORGE H : I've tried printing on several kinds of paper of different sizes, and I think an estimate for A4 paper would be $1-1.5/page. One page was flipped coated side down in a stack, and, I have to say, there was a _lot_ of ink floating around on it when I pulled it out.JEFFREY B : It's premature for me to adquately answer this, but I've printed 11 color saturated canvas prints A3+ size, 1 heavy black/white canvas A3+, and a dozen or so 5x7 on photopaper. All ink tanks are about half except for MBK. that has been on low warning for the last two A3+ prints that were color. However, this experience is with the first set of ink tanks, not the replacement ones. Canon makes a point stating that the first batch of tanks will not last as long as the replacements due to filling of the ink lines, priming the printer, etc. Wish I could be more helpful. I am tracking this as I go.JAMES M : As near as I can tell so far, the cost of printing on photo glossy paper, (Canon), using Canon series 29 inks is about $4.30 per square foot. Hope this helps.REGINO M : Honestly, I do not know, I bought it as a back up in case I would run out of ink, knowing that the initial start up of the machine would required up to one half the contents of the initial carton. I was also counting on doing 36 "11x14" but they did not materialized, so I still do not know how many can be obtained from that package.

Even though it's more money up front, it's much cheaper to buy this as a pack than individually.

Always check Adorama! Their prices often beat Amazon and they have excellent customer service. Fast, On time, and cheaper.

Ink and tech support
Great help with finding my ink from you personal! Have bought a number of pro EOS cameras and the few times I had occasion to call tech support the guys have been amazingly quick to slice my problem!

Costly Ink
The quality of this ink is 5 star. The price is outrageous.If you can calibrate 3rd party ink, use that at a much more sane price.point.

Good ink, but pricey.
Ink is good, but it would be nice if it didn't run out so fast. It is also very pricey.

Just doing a premium job at a premium price
Canon ink tanks…these are pricey but they do the job nicely. I’ve been using them for more than five years and have no complaints. The colors have been consistent box to box over the five years. The tanks themselves have never failed. The packaging is efficient and sufficiently protective.

Ink lasts a long time
Our architects have been using this ink for several years in our plotter printers and have found the quality to be consistent and the ink to be long-lasting.

required for my printer no other choice
wish there was more ink in cartridge ---cartridge is BIG, but contains a small tube of ink in it - pkg would be 1/5 of the size for amount of ink in it - also very expensive

Please make it easier to delete the “free stuff”
Good service and excellent inks. I would love to see an easier way to decline the free paper. I don’t need it and cannot/will not use it.

Went to website to purchase other colors. Out of stock! Seriously? Now use a different source for my PC-1 printer. Sampler pack is no incentive to buy Canon. I Have too many sampler packs.

Adorama are professionals. Why would I order from anyone else?
Adorama ships fast, free, sends ink that is not out of date, and I wouldn't put any other ink in my printer. I'm an Adorama customer of 25 years and wouldn't even think of ordering from anyone else.That tells you what I think of them and that I won't order photo equipment and supplies from Amazon.

PM might as well be RED
Canon ink is great and the only ink I use, but my PRO-1 takes 12 cartridges. Very, very expensive. I would only recommend this printer (and ink to someone who could pass the expense along to a client or someone, like me, who enjoys the best.

Good ink - need lots of it
Every time I go through a print session, I replace ink cartridges as needed on my Canon Pro-1, then I get onto Adorama and order replacements. The printing quality is great, but the ink goes buy very quickly (it seems).

Good compromise - larger tanks, adequate colors
The ink reservoir capacity on this Canon is many times what I have previously experienced with my Epson printer, and the convenience of the larger tanks is welcome. Getting a full set of tanks for me is a starter set, and the free shipping from Adorama helps reduce cost as I replaced used up tanks.

INKS I only buy from OEMs
I only buy inks from the OEM. Many years ago I learned that lesson the hard way. When Canon introduced the PIXMA PRO-1 I bought one. Was very happy with the quality so I bought another one.

Own 2 Canon PRO-1 PRINTERS
Bought my first on about Septmber 2012 and then about a year ago I bought a second one. Great printer if your looking for quality prints. Its a work horse. Never have had a problem with the Canon inks. I don't buy off brand inks.
