As in full remote function?Clifford K : It all depends on what lens you are using --- as far as I know there is only one that will work with the power zoom and I have been asking Canon if--- and when they will be adding a true long distance lens --- something that goes at least to 500 M..JORGE P : Yes, it mounts on the lens, does not matter what camera you are usingANDREW R : The PZ-E1 is lens specific, not camera specific. Wireless functionality (ie. smart phone app) is only available when used with the 80D.

You should be able to use all controls on PZ-E1, but it is recommended for 80D because on that camera you'll have a full functionality, like controlling PZ remotely. Just make sure, whatever camera you use the attachment of PZE1 to the lens won't be obstructed.Clifford K : No only on the 80 D -- the electrical contacts work through the camera (at least for Wi-Fy use) the only lens it works on is the EFS 18-135mm with nano USM I hope they will bring out a new lens 200mm + that the PZ power zoom will work with... it would be fantastic for nature video and long focal lengths..JOSEPH K : It only works with the Canon EF-S 18-135mm IS USM. No other Canon lens has been produced to accommodate the PZ-E1 Power Zoom.JOSEPH K : It should work with the 70D. The zoom adapter is paired with the lens, not the camera body. If you still have doubts, check with Canon USA customer service.Gina G : Yes it works with the Canon 70D but you must be careful that the lens it attaches to has USM technology. The lens I originally bought with my 70D would not work with it.ANDREW R : Wireless functionality is only available when used with the 80D. Good tool but not for professional use

It's handy. I won't lie. I put it on my overhead camera to make zoom in and out much easier. But that's about it. It's not a professional tool at all. No remote control or adjustable pressure for the zoom. I really wonder why I spent so much money on it. I'd rather send it back to be honest lol

Works great for me

I'm using this adapter with 80D. Filming various events, shows and presentations. It will also work with this lens on other Canon cameras, like I used it on T4i, there just won't be remote control functionality available, that is something reserved only for 80D for now. Hopefully in the future Canon will expand this to newer cameras.

Super Cool for both still and Video---- love it !

I love this power zoom... It has worked with out any flaws. I only hope they come out with more lenses that can use the PZ zoom .. 200mm + would be great !! or some sort of adapter for use with other lenses
