LOVE IT!

Love this remote! It is the perfect size and works really great! No more running to get yourself in place for a group shot. This remote also minimizes movement from you when doing macro shots.

Canon RC-6 Remote

Works well, but you have to be in front of camera. Good when you want to be in the picture, not so good for taking pictures of wildlife. My camera has IR sensor only on front of camera - it would be better if camera had both front and rear facing sensors.

Finally no wires

By

from Arlington Heights, Illinois  -  Semi-Professional

This is a small investment to eliminate a big headache. I was tired of my wires remote. Opening the flap, plugging it in,getting tangled, etc. I had read in some reviews that this only works from the front. That is an exaggeration. Mine works well with my 60D from the front to 90 degrees to the right side, up and down. The side the sensor is on. Buy it, it comes with a little pouch that attaches to your camera strap so it is always handy.

A must have

By

from Arlington Heights, Illinois  -  Semi-Professional

This remote is a MUST have for tripod shooting. If you have ever used a corded remote you know what I mean. No more tangling, opening the flap, plugging in.Other reviews have said it only works straight on from the front. This is not true. It works on my 60D from the right side, top and bottom. It also comes with a little pouch yhat attaches to your camera strap, so it's always there. Another great product from Canon.

Great remote

By

from West Haven, UT  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

Snall very useful, but seems that it functions only from front of camera, would like it to be useful operating behind camera.

Nice wireless remote!

By

from Somerville, NJ  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

It worked flawlessly right out of the box, and still actuated the shutter well beyond the listed distance limit. I got shots off between 37-39 feet away from the camera, after that it was too far away. This will come in very handy for self portraiture and long exposure photography. Just press the button and off you go. Excellent!

Great job from a little gizmo!

By

from Oberlin, OH  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

This is a great little remote for my Canon DSLR Sl1. It fits in one's hand without being noticed, so you can take a picture of yourself without seeing the remote. I've been very pleased with the ease of use and the small size. I highly recommend this product to people looking for a way to take pictures with themselves in the photos.

Excellent product

By

from casper, WY  -  Semi-Professional

I use this for selfies with friends/family, but also when taking pics of children and babies. It is not intimidating and gives more control over the pose situation. It is light weight, small/discreet and best of all, it works like a charm.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DAN S  I use this for on tripod shots. No camera shake.
Pauline P  I have the Canon Powershot sx60 camera and have for another camera a RS-60e3 remote and would like to know if the Wireless Remote Control RC-6 shutter release for Canon EOS Digital SLR Camera will work with these? Please advise. I do not see the information listed.
ART F  I don't know about the RC-6, but the RS-60 E3 does work with the SX60HS. I use it quite often with mine.
Silvana S  this one works for my 6D camera?
WILLIAM S  I would bet it does. This is a simple line of sighat infrared unit. It can be awkward to use as you need to be in front of the camera. AdoRama has some wired units that would be a better choice IMO.
