i found using this camera a little overwelming at first since iam used to the cheap digital cameras but some of the first pictures came out great actuallly better than i thought they would
the only thing is a refurbished camera doesnt come with a memory card

Meets more than basic needs
This is a good camera for someone who likes to take good quality picture, and who's not a professional.

Amazing Zoom!!!!
This is a great camera but does lack in the pixel area. Be sure that what you snap is what you want.
The zoom and image stabilizer is a must have.

Inexpensive without sacrificing quality
This is a nice simple camera with some nice features that make it great for an all around camera, especially useful for travelling light.
It would have been nice to have the ability to shoot RAW files, however the JPEGS produced were fairly impressive for the resolution this camera offers.
Also, I found the camera to be wonderfully inexpensive. A great backup, also providing a movie mode, and works flawlessly.

Exactly what I wanted.
A perfect second camera - especially when I don't want to lug my DSLR through airport security.
