This camera is perfect for when you don't want to haul a lot of SLR equipment around, but when you still want a camera capable of great image quality.It's so small and light you can slip it in a pocket or hang it on your belt and you won't know you are carrying it.It's not an SLR but used within its limitations the image quality is as good as an SLR. The S90 suffices for probably 95% of my photo needs.
