Excellent and Very Compact
This is a VERY small camera. It can go with you anywhere, and as they say "The best camera is the one you have with you." It is very solidly made, all metal body. A downside to the small size is they have no room for much of a zoom lens, so you have only 3X zoom, but that is adequate for lots of travel, family event and casual photos. The image quality is excellent, and rivals or exceeds that of other compact cameras (I own or have used over a half dozen different ones). Only other downside is there is no "manual" exposure mode, but the adjustments that you can make are adequate for probably 80% to 90% of what most people would shoot anyway. Very highly recommended.

good value
I am not an avid photographer, just like to take random pics of events and get togethers. The reason I looked into a compact camera, was so I was able to carry it with me easily. I have a larger one that I LOVE, but is bulky to just take "anywhere". So after doing a little research, ended up with this one. So far I am VERY happy with it. For the $ and for what I need it for, it has been excellent!

Good All Around P&S Cmera
Prime camera is a Nikon SLR, but keep this point & shoot as a back up. Sometimes it's better to use a p&s in some situations and this is a great camera.
It has a viewfinder which I like. A good all around camera.
I have recommended to a number of persons.
