(PowerShot SX720 HS in Black I only gave it one star because zero stars isn't an option. Canon has discontinued the service which allowed this camera to connect directly (Image Transfer Utility) and refuses to help me with a work around they SAY they have unless I PAY for "support". I would understand if I had done something to disable or damage my camera, but I haven't. I bought this camera 3 years ago for this very reason. Now it's useless to me. The new "service" requires uploading to their cloud, then downloading. There is no way to choose which photos I want on the computer, and apparently no way to delete images from their cloud. There are no instructions on how to do anything on that site. Customer "service" which they advertise as so fantastic is a joke.

My kids play sports and I want to capture some action shots from the stands, zoom and shutter speed on phone cameras just don't cut it and I'm not interested in a fancy, expensive, complicated camera. This one is just the right size and has managed to grab some great shots.

I love this point and shoot camera, it's my second one. Taking thousands and thousands of pictures over many years all over the world. Hard to beat the size and durability of this camera.

I have been happy with previous Cannon PowerShots - in fact purchased one for my daughter in law this christmas - however, be careful if you go to Norway! Cold temperatures caused fogging that has not cleared up, and it gets worse when we went to Cleveland for Christmas - and did not clear up when we went to dry, warm California!

A camera that easily fits in my pocket and takes astonishingly great photos...every time. I don't have to carry a couple long, heavy lenses to get amazing telephotos. Awesome for nature photography, travel, sports, etc. The best camera is the one that is with you when a great opportunity happens, and my pocket Canon is the answer.

Camera came in great condition and looked like a brand new product. All accessories were packaged very well.

Amazing combination of small size and powerful camera. Very sharp photos for a small format sensor and amazing reach with the lens. Any more zoom and you wouldn't be able to hold it still.

I love close ups and this camera is all about that. I take amazing photos of the moon. Needs a tripod when you are at 40X as the slightest move probably moves the lens a thousand miles in space.

For the price, this does a phenomenal job of video and stills. While I have a number of DSLR's this is a great little backup camera.

Why is it so difficult to find and order a memory card? REPLY: I found the memory card and a second battery on Amazon. Seems Cannon would offer these on its website. Fortunately today there are alternatives when a prime provider vails to provide important product support.

Great image quality, vivid colors, long zoom reach, many shooting modes for added control, compact size, very good, especially for traveling.

I wanted to be able to zoom in on objects and post to Facebook sometimes. The zoom seems fine. The Facebook connectivity, which was advertised when I bought the phone yesterday, has been discontinued. I will have to send photos to my phone and then upload. It is annoying.

I am very disappointed with this camera. One of the main reason I bought this one was because I would be able to download my pics to my Surface Pro. So far I have been unable to do so.

I adore this camera. I do advise playing with it first to get used to using the zoom. Pictures and detail are sharp. Picture is from Monarch Butterfly Overwintering grove in So. Calif. with full zoom. .

Ok I currently have a SX260HS, prior to that was S70 and now I get this one SX720HS. For the price, a cable should have come with it to connect to pc. Secondly, and I know, the new programmed features are way different than the SX260 and having difficulty figuring them all out again and setting up the camera the way I like it. Third, it is having a hard time to connect to my home wireless system. ;o( I hope I can update my review as I continue to figure this camera out within 30 days otherwise it goes back to the store.

This is not a professional camera for photographers. I use it to take visual notes and document my work in marketing. I am also shooting a few still life images in the studio and some shots are awsome. The quality of the image in zoom is not the best, but works well for me. Macro photography distortion is a lot less than in any cellphone. It is user friendly. Manual mode let me play with light. Creative shooting modes are fun. Conectivity is not as fast as I would like. The size is perfect for the pockets in my satchel.

I just took my new camera to Rocklahoma. I loved the faster response to activate a shot with this camera. Got lots of cool poses by rock stars. The improved zoom is also a welcome improvement over my last Canon Powershot SX700 HS.

The camera was all that I expected. The black camera case was unneeded as the gray case included in the camera purchase is a better case

Just got the camera and really wanted to use it for recording mostly but also to take great pictures. When you don't zoom, the quality is pretty good but the moment you start to zoom, everything is out of focus and I can't even focus on an object that is 5 ft. away. I've tried the manual focus and it doesn't really help. Another feature I noticed is that when you record a video that's about a minute and you go to view the video, it takes a very long time for it to load. My camera turns off about a minute of inactivity and it took more than a minute to load my video. For a camera this expensive, I expected more.

I was looking for a small camera with good image quality. Not top of the line image quality like my larger Sony and Canon cameras but something "sharp" and acceptable. Well, the SX720 HS didn't do it for me. I set the camera to the highest quality jpg image capture. I then captured images across the entire range of the zoom lens, put them into both Lightroom and Photoshop, zoomed to 100%, and they were way to soft to get the sharpness I was looking for. I know describing image quality can be subjective but I just expected more from this higher priced point and shoot. The internal sensor size just didn't do it for me. I returned the camera within a week.

Don't waste your money on this one. I have owned 3 canon cameras, all great except this one. In order to get a decent picture, the image needs to be completely still, a little bit of movement and you got a blurry picture. Lots of blurry pictures being deleted, what a disappointment.

Every one of the cameras i have purchased have for at least thirty years have been Canons, but no more. I replaced my previous Canon Powershot with this one specifically for my son's wedding. Consequently I have no pictures that i personally took. I am sad/furious. Every picture I took at the reception was blurry/awful looking. I set the camera on auto so that i could walk around during the dancing, etc. and catch my guests in candid shots. I hoped the camera could "freeze" the action to catch some fun shots, but even pictures i posed and for which the subjects were standing perfectly still, were blurry. I can never replace those moments, and thankfully there were other amateurs and paid professionals there to photograph the event, but I was devastated. Steer clear of this camera. For me, for the first time in my adult life i am investigating a different brand.

Fun and easy to use!

I received this camera as a gift and I am so impressed at the quality of photos I've taken and how much freedom I have to do my own thing with it. A lot of the negative reviews lead me to believe those people did not know how to use the camera properly. I used it to take scenic shots of mountains VERY far away and the focus was excellent.
