When I first placed the camera in the housing I was amazed that every feature of the camera was accessible by a button or knob on the housing. I greased the seal and placed in a sink--no leaks. First dive was 102 ft--no leaks. Might consider an external flash down the road. Much better set up than my old Nikonos V.

It is a pleasure to use. You can just use the camera and case by its self and get good pictures. If you get some add ons you can get really great pictures. For the money it is very hard to beat. You will be amaized at the slide shows that you can put together with your pictures. you will wonder why you waited so long. you won't be sorry that you got the housing.

Took this camera to Hawaii (twice) and got some great pictures. Sometimes the sunlight through the water makes it difficult to see picture on screen. Easy enough to use that I frequently take pictures of my kids in the pool (and they take pictures of each other!).

Take advantage of the S60's Underwater white balance preset with this waterproof case, depth-rated to 132 feet. Even beginners will capture breathtaking images.
To capture the best underwater shots the PowerShot S60 digital camera includes an underwater preset for the white balance. This feature automatically sets the camera to the correct white balance for underwater shooting so users do not have to worry about the difficulty of operating manually.
For the underwater enthusiast, Canon offers an optional waterproof case weight set (WW-DC1) that is compatible with all of its underwater housings. Available in packs of four, these weights allow the camera to stay put for steady underwater photography.
