Bought this to be used in conjunction with 1DX and Eye-Fi SD Card. 1) This Type II CF does NOT fit all DSLRs - it doesn't fit my 5D Mark III. 2) I used to be able to transmit data about 5-8 metres away, now, it has to be almost stuck onto my tripod or... essentially, very near to the camera 3) Cuts your Eye-Fi or Wireless SD Card transfer speed pretty significantly.

Works great but doesn't fit my Nikon D700. Works very well on Olympus DSLR's with Eye-Fi Mobi!

I have a Nikon D200 and have always wanted to use an Eye-Fi card but held off because my research on Eye-Fi's website stated that Eye-Fi cards would not work in CF adapters / my camera. I have been contemplating a camera upgrade in the near future and decided to take a chance in the mean time and buy this adapter and the Eye-Fi Pro X2 to see if it would work in my camera and it did!

Adapter worked great right out of the box--but then failed after about 10 photos. Turns out the SD card worked loose and lost connection. Mainly need to make sure the card is pushed in as far as possible---and then not panic when the camera says your card is not formatted. No problems since that first one.

Bought this for use in a Nikon D3. The device fits perfectly. Now, I am running Firmware 2.03. I was not able to use a 64gb Sandisk Ultra. I was able to use a 32gb Sandisk Extreme Pro (And it worked perfectly). I dont know if it was the card, adaptor, camera or user that was the issue on the 64gb card. For what CF cards cost (Why?), I consider this a win.

It gets the adapter part right works with video and photos, the wifi part not so well with the 5d mark 2 and the eyefi card its very slow even at the smallest jpeg settings, considering it stated on the package it supports wifi SD cards I'm disappointed.

Works as intended with the eye-fi card in a 7d and work ok, it does diminish signal strength by 1 bar out of 3 compared to the 5d markiii

This adapter is well made, reliable and serves the purpose of converting from one type of memory card to another.

Simple to use, this adapter allows me to use the easier to find sd card in my Nikon d-300. It is a type 2 card, so it is limited to devices that will accept this size.

Bought this so I could use class 10 SDHC cards in my Canon 7D when shooting video. It doesn't work. It can't handle the video data coming from the camera.

Bought two since SD is now cheaper than CF. Gave one to friend with Canon Rebel. Little slower than Ultra CF using an Ultra SD card: so not for multi fire, but for normal single use it works great. Used SD right into Netbook PC and my USB SD reader with zero problems.

I have a camera that uses a CD card and one that uses a SD card. I use the product to back up both cameras

I bought this card adapter to see if I could use it to shoot video with my Canon 7D using SDHC cards instead of Compact Flash cards. Shooting stills worked just fine, but shooting video didn't work. I tried a variety of SDHC cards and none would record more than 3 seconds of video. If I was traveling and only shooting stills, this card would be fine for using smaller, cheaper SDHC cards. But if you want to shoot video, stick with compact flash cards.

I use mostly compact flash cards in my digital SLR's. I have a few SDHC class 4 cards that I wanted to put to use in my SLR. Seems to read and write a bit on the slow side. Otherwise, works fine.

The Compact Flash Type II Card Adapter for SDHC/MMC cards work great! It's simple and straight forward to use. The SD card spring clips into the side of the adapter, then you set the adapter into your camera or computer's card reader slot. The performance of the camera is slower with the adapter than with a standard CF card (I use Type III and IV SanDisk CF cards in my Nikon D-300) in CH continuous shooting it runs about 5 frames per second rather than 6-7 fps with the type III/ IV CF cards. One glitch is downloading the SD card to the computer. When you use a SD card in the adapter to capture images with your camera, you must use the Compact Flash Type II Card Adapter to read that SD card. You cannot read / download the SD card on your computer without using the SD card in the SD/CF adaptor . You must read/ download the SD card using the Compact Flash Type II Card Adapter. Apparently the adapter changes the configuration of the SD card. Downloading the SD card is slower when using the adapter. But if you have several SD cards and now use a camera that uses a CF card this is a great tool / investment.

When my son's Nikon D50 died I gave him my spare D70S. Unfortunately he had made an investment into SD cards. So the CF to SD converter was the perfect thing to get. Great Price and great item.

When shooting pictures for my friends, I can use their SDHC flash cards in my Nikon D300 camera. When done, I just give them their SD card back. Since my laptop reads and writes SD cards, I can preview my pictures on my laptop in the field.

like it because it made it easer to plug and play on my tv and computer fits in camera tight so it does not jiggle around I dont need to get out my reader everytime I won't to look at pictures. Haven't had long enough to no if it is reliable or not

Very useful because I have several cameras that use different type of cards. I also own PC and MAC and was able to use this item with both systems.

This is a great idea.I haven't used it in the field yet, but in tests it seemed to write a little slow.
