Tough case

Aluminum covers fell off right out of the box- nothing a bit of JB Weld couldn't fix. Can be a little tricky opening one handed, but won't go flying open on it's own either. Very tough- overkill if anything. Plastic would have been plenty strong, but didn't like the available 8 card holder colors, and the pelican case version is too big. Aluminum finish is really nice too. Not that I see myself needing more than 4 cards anytime soon, I use the left side for empty cards, and the right for sp...

not for heavy group or classroom use.

I used these cases for my classrooms for one school year, which resulted in several of my students' cards breaking. The rubber is too grippy/dense (or) the cutout is just a little too small, resulting in SD cards cracking when you try to remove them. This happened at least a dozen times. The Vanguard brand cases are much better.

Nice Looking Case with Plenty of Storage

By

from Katy, TX.  -  Semi-Professional

Here is a nice looking case purchased recently with plenty of storage space for SD cards. Rougged and Easy to use. One problem I can see once used for a period of time is where both sides of the case are attached. It can break apart causing the case not to be secured and useful. I don't understand why a more reliable approach was not used to give you years of worry free reliability, otherwise than that issue, every thing else on this case is great. If you are not an individual that is very careful handling fragile items, I would not recommend you buying this product for the reasons explained above. Good Luck and Happy Photo or Video Storing.

Solid case for the money...

By

This case does provide card slots that are tight enough to hold SD cards. Open/Close snap seems secure enough, although I haven't abused it much to this point. I would recommend purchase based on other products I've read about.

Handy

This is a handy case to keep all your "memory sticks" together and protected. Before I bought this, I just carried them around in my pocket.

Does what I need it to

By

from Edwardsville, IL  -  Semi-Professional

Works great, all SD cards fit snuggly, no sliding around. I like that the cards click into place, giving me an added sense of security. Case is sturdy, yet lightweight, and fits easily in your pocket (unless you're wearing skinny jeans...).

Best on Market

By

from Baton Rouge, LA  -  Hobbyist/Enthusiast

I've looked high and low and there isn't any thing compairable on the market. The aluminum exterior adds an extra level of protection and good looks! The latch is very secure, which was my complaint on other similar storage cases. Easily can fit in a shirt pocket, or front/back pants pocket. I had several of them for years and they last.

Great way to protect and store your SD!

By

from Millersburg, PA  -  Casual user

This is a great way to keep track of your SD cards, especially if you use different cards for different subjects, or if you keep your photos on your SD card in a safe as your "back-up" in case of data loss.

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
David E  Durable, slim and compact, easy to pack, great protection. Haven't found anything better.
Shopper  How much does this product weigh out of packaging?
Susan R  About 3.4 ounces. Better to take larger memory cards. For a trip to Africa where I was weight limited I used 32GB cards and did not need all 15 cards I took. Note: when you are finished with a card lock it so you won't lose your data. I used these aluminum storage cases and put my memory cards back in them but locked and backwards.
