Important note for memory cards with greater capacities than 2GB!
Memory cards with capacities greater than 2GB are designed to be used with devices that use FAT 32 format. Many cameras and other electronic devices use FAT 16 format. This means if you buy a 4GB memory card for a device employing FAT 16, you will only be able to use 2GB, or half the capacity you paid for. There's nothing wrong with the card! The limitation is with the device's FAT 16.
