Protects my D3000
I bought the Delkin Snug It for a refurbed D3000. I knew that I was going to be rough on the camera and it needed some protection. Overall the fit is good with the following exceptions. The piece that is supposed to fit in the flash shoe will not stay in place, and the screen protector does not fit very well. Overall it does it's job, but could use some improvement in the areas noted.

A little late
I brought the d3000 as a everyday travel camera. I have a D3 as my work camera and d90 for off days.. I recently was walking in NYC and drop my D3000 down a flight of stairs.. Wished i had this product at the time.. Anyways my camera without the protection only had a few scratches.. The lens was totally gone.. So all I have to say is with this protection it is better.. I didn't have it and got lucky. So get this product.

Good barrier for slippery fingers
I bought this for my new Nikon d3000 after my Kodak had the misfortune of slipping from my fingers. The battery compartment suffered a fatal injury, and the warranty was over. I either pay over [$] to fix the two-year-old camera (or get [$] from Kodak on trade-in: RIP-OFF!), or I buy a camera from Nikon and find a way to protect it from me. Nikon recommended Adorama and this product. So far, I have not dropped the camera, have not had it interfere with my picture-taking or regret that I bought this product. If I happen to drop this camera, there is a chance that the camera is going to suffer - but it's my hope that I will have a bit more protection because of this skin.

finally protection for D3000
Finally protection for my d3000, fits well and has a good feel to it.
