It's gold and not black as the picture indicated. Everything is the same and is a good quality sandisk product. I would buy again.

I've purchased several of these and have never had a problem with them - my computer is ancient so I'm constantly back things up and these are where the 'stuff' goes. Unfortunately, my income only allows me to purchase when they're on sale, but then I statch them up!

My camera will only accept CF cards (an older model, obviously) and they work great with it. Also, I use this for all types of other backup storage along with my card reader; it accepts transfers quickly and accurately. I am, in no way, technologically knowledgable, but this is the one I can always count on!

I use both the 8gb and 16gb cf card in my D700. I have found the card reliable and fast.

I haven't bought storage in quite a while as I find SanDisk to be very reliable. It's the only brand I will buy.

I bought this pack of SanDisk 8GB cards a few weeks ago, and have had a great experience with them thus far. I needed these as back ups for my 32BG, but didn't want to spend as much as I did on the 32. This ends up being a pretty good deal considering the quantity of cards, total memory, and reliable brand.

Whenever I need a memory card, the choice is always SanDisk. The quality is unparalleld.

Greatly increases storage capacity while shooting with camera. Speeds up write/read time while shooting.

Reliable atorage in hot or cold situations. I have several in different memory sizes, to meet multiple shooting situations. This storage size is ideal for small events, macro photography and studio sessions.

The Extreme III and IV have published write speeds of 20 and 35 Mb/s and are not UDMA enabled. This Extreme CF card is UDMA enabled and when used in a camera that can use the UDMA protocal will write up to 60 MB/s. This 60 MB/s write speed will be reduced if the UDMA protocal is not supported. I was unable to locate any specs for non-UDMA write speeds. Check your manual for memory requirments.

I use these in my home servers for reliability reasons. SanDisk has never let me down, they appear to have very good quality control. I've never received a bad CF card from them. They're good in an "industrial" environment (ie, my hot and humid garage in Florida). They're just worth the slight extra cost.

I happen to like and prefer shooting with smaller capacity memory cards, and since this is the smallest available these days, it is my go-to choice. Maybe my feelings on this are a throwback to the film days, and having the security that if one fails not all of my images are on one card (although I have never had a SanDisk Extreme or Extreme Pro card fail in the past ten years). Since I make my living utilizing memory cards in photography, I don't take chances with off-brands or inferrior and less expensive cards.

I use these cards for my Nikon D700. Although I have not tested movie performance with them, in the aspect of still images, they work great. Continuous shooting also has no problems. They are very reliable and the outstanding quality worth the price, even they are a little pricey compared with other brands. Overall, I am becoming a lover of SanDisk and will keep purchasing their memory products.

Reviewing a memory card? I always buy Sandisk or Lexar. Stay away from generic cards. This is a good one. Buy it!

These SanDisk memory cards are great. I have never had any issues with any of them. I even had one go through a complete wash and dryer cycle (inside my pants pocket) with no issues. Highly recommend this brand.

I prefer to shoot with smaller cards (to limit losses in case one dies), so this 2-pack was a good deal. I've used Sandisk cards for several years now and they are all in working order - can't say the same for my other cards. These cards have a pretty fast transfer rate (60 MB/s). My D700 doesn't take advantage of this speed but perhaps other cameras would. It does transfer to my computer over USB 3.0 noticeably faster than the previous generation.

An advanced wear-leveling system and industry-leading error correction code prolong the life of the card by managing data intelligently for improved reliability and endurance.
Best-in-class quality assurance starts with memory components designed from the ground up for shock and vibration resistance-and sealed with RTV silicone coating for added protection against moisture and humidity.
Rigorous stress-testing procedures further assure these cards perform under pressure, inside and out, even in extreme environments.
