I am taking a lot of pictures for a historic gold mine and was being held up by the write speed of my old memory card. A tech at Nikon suggested a high speed memory card and she was right. 8GB is enough for over 500 RAW pictures in my 12MB camera.

I use this in a Panasonic Lumix FZ200. I wanted to make sure that photos taken while on "continuous" setting would get written to the card as soon as possible. It works great. I often take 20 continuous photos at a time, and have had no hiccups with this card. The FZ200 may not need a card this fast, but the price is almost the same as lesser speeds, so why not get this one?

What can you say about a memory card, it works. SanDisk makes out standing memory cards, always my first choice.

I have used many different brand SD cards and the SanDisk Extreme Pro is by far the best card on the market. Super FAST! 8GB are fine with small jobs, but you can always buy up too! I've never had a problem with SanDisk products... knocking on wood!

Using on a slow to write Nikon P7000, and makes the wait much more tolerable. Less than two seconds vs 3-4 with a 40mb/s card. Works as good as I had hoped.

For several years I have used Sandisk SDHC and Lexar CF cards. I have never had any issues with them. I primarily use these brands as various well-known experts over the past few years have stated that Sandisk and Lexar are the best, most stable, most durable and least problematic. These same folks have also ranted about various problems and failures regarding other brands. I have no experience with other brands so I cannot offer my own input regarding that. Since my photo's/video's are precious to me, I would not care to experiment beyond the realm of which I do know are quality products. (And no, I do not work for, own any part of the Sandisk or Lexar companies, nor do I otherwise sell, distribute or have any other sort of involvement with their products.) Other cards may be just fine or reliable, but since there are so many card models and manufacturers available at many price levels, I prefer to rely on other reviewers' advice, and other reviewers seem to prefer these two brands overall.

I'm using this in a Fujifilm XPro-1, it's fast, much faster than the Class 4 version I've been using, what that means is the buffer works faster and I can view the playback sooner as well as shoot fast without having to stop and wait for the buffer to clear so often as in the past. No downsides have shown up, I"ve been using Sandisk cards since 2007 without a single failure.

These cards do exactly what they claim. It was an adjustment switching to smaller cards, but I'm finding it fine if I'm careful not to drop them during a shoot.

These superfast cards are essential for DSLRs with large image files like the Nikon D7100. SanDisk is at the top of this field. Highly recommended.

This is a great card for large RAW files if you have a DSLR that has a lot of megapixels. At 95MB/s, this card is the fastest on the market so it's definitely worth getting. I haven't used a Lexar card to see if the 600x (90MB/s) is faster than the SanDisk (it could be faster depending on their testing source) but this card absolutely does data transfer quickly. I bought the 8GB one for my D600 and figured it would be ok with the dual SD slots but I do regret not getting at least 2 16GB cards. The 8GB card maxes out at around 270 images in a full RAW format.

I prefer a smaller GB card as I have had issues in the past with a card degrading. I always save the photos on the cards, but if one should degrade and corrupt the images on either side, I would lose less photos on a smaller GB card (yes, I back them up on a hard-drive as well.) That being said, I have never had any problems with the SanDisk Extreme Pro. The speed works well with my Canon T2i and the quality is very good and easy to work with in other applications. I will pay the higher $$ to have quality I can count on each time. Just sent some off with my kiddo on a two-week photo shoot in Berlin, Germany!

Costs a little more than a regular SD card, but the speed and quality make up for it.

I've heard plenty of great things about this one. I bought two for my new NX20. Operations seem to be really speedy, even when I push the camera. "Processing" has never kept me waiting for more than a second. So far I'm satisfied.
