Questions & Answers

craig d : Can you use it in a EVO 4G?ALDREX C : Yes. It should work fine. This card has been proven by tech blogs to work with phones as old as the original Motorola Droid. Only recommendation that has been stated by majority of the users, myself included, is that you format the micro SDXC in the phone, rather than on a PC / Mac. Be sure to back up all your info on your current SD, in order to transfer the data over after formatting.DENISE C : I think you can, but it depends on the firmware you have on the phone. I use mine on a rooted EVO 3D.NOEL D : yes your phone EVO 4G support this memoryTRACY S : I don't know. I have an Inspire 4g and its been working perfectly. ZAC W : I actually bought this for my friend because i owed him and he wanted this. He told me it will work in pretty much any android phone as long as the SD card is formatted to FAT32.KIBUM B : I used this product in Motorola Droid Bionic. The smartphone immediately recognized this card and formatted it. After formatting, the "storage setting" shows that the total space is 59.46GB. I don't know if this card will work in a EVO 4G. The Wikipedia page on EVO 4G says that the microSD card slot will support up to 32GB. However, that is also what Wikipedia said about Droid Bionic. Nevertheless, my machine does support 64GB microSDXC card. So you can give it a try if you don't mind shelling out money. Even in case your EVO 4G can't recognize the card, you can place the card in the SD Card adapter that comes with this product, which enables you to use the card as a regular sized SDXC card.Patrick H : Yes you can, but the card has to be formatted in the phone. I'm using one on my galaxy s2. I did have an issue with it but that's because I was running muiu. As soon as I flashed a stock rom and put the card in, it prompted me to format it. You do lose the speed benefits of the xc.. But it's as fast as the class 10 card I had in there befordTODD R : Yes.
Shopper : My son has a Motorola Triumph android cellphone ( Virgin Mobile carrier). Will this work for that phone?JAGADEESH P : This SDHC Card may work or may not work. You can try using the card. The maximum capacity this Motorola Mobile phone can support is 32GB. If the card works, the phone will be using only 32GB not the complete 64GB.JAGADEESH P : This SDHC Card may work or may not work. You can try using the card. The maximum capacity this Motorola Mobile phone can support is 32GB. If the card works, the phone will be using only 32GB not the complete 32GB.MOHAMED L : I use this 64GB MicroSD Card for my MP3 player and it works. first of all, you have to change the format from NTFS to FAT32 for it to work.ALANI D : I don't know. I am still looking for a list of devices it does work it in as it has not worked in any I have tried and I am wonder if maybe it was a mistake to buy it.NANCY J : No, according to the Motorola website the Motorola Triumph will only support up to a 32GB micro SD card.JEEVAN S : If the phone is newer one and supports exFAT file format it can store files of any size. if it supports only file format FAT32 as long the file size is less than 4GB you can fill the card up to 59 GB (that's the usable storage available on this disk)JEEVAN S : Hello, This will work with android devices as long the card is re-formatted to FAT32 (meaning files over the size of 4GB cannot be stored). This is card is only class 6, so it gave me only 4-6MB/s write speed. I'm currently using it on my Samsung Captivate, it works with no problem.
Shopper : Will this work when installed in a Motorola Xoom running Android 3.2?BRUCE J : While I don't have a Zoom, I do have another android device, the Samsung Galaxy Note and what happens when you install a 64gb card the first time is that Android will not recognize the file system on the card and will ask you to reformat within the device. Once reformatted the card works just fine with zero problems.LARRY H : I should work in Motorola Xoom running Android 3.2 but I don't have one to know for sure. It was reformatted in my Captivate running Android 2.3.BRANDON F : Chances are extremely high that this will work in just about any Android device. Unofficial tests have confirmed that it works with many Android devices, even ones that do not claim compatibility. No Android devices tested were incompatible. It should work, go ahead and pick one up.JOSEPH G : I purchased this item for my HTC Rezound running Androind 2.3.4. It works fine. I am not sure about Android 3.2, but I would think it should be fine, too. I researched this extensively prior to purchasing a 64GB card since my device specifically stated it supported up to 32GB. The solution is to reformat the card to FAT32 file format. When reformatting, you will lose about 4.5 GB, but that still leaves you with about 59.5GB. Some folks say that you can reformat the card in the device, but I used one of my computers (iMac) to format the card. Good Luck!

Exactly what I was looking for....

Purchased this for my Android Galaxy Tab. Formatted and working like a champ, as I had anticipated. SanDisk has served me well for the past 6 years, both in an amateur photography role and in various electronic devices as well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable microSD with a ton of room, however I would suggest you do the research and make sure your electronic devices can accommodate the SDXC format. I am very pleased with this product....
