Used sandisk for several years, have 8 or nine never a problem.
This card is fast - much faster.
Using Rebel t2i.

Just got back from Europe-filled them up
We went to Europe for 2 weeks and took 2 - 8G cards for my New Canon 5-DII. Worked flawlessly and was appreciative that my salesperson at Adorama recommended Scandisk. I would recommend to anyone as I will be buying more to shoot video.

San Disk 8 GB Extreme Secure SDHC Memory
I have used at a hot beach in Texas in August for last 3 years. I take my DSLR and sit photographing my family and all the other very colorful people and umbrellas.
I have not tried to make short movies, but that will take up the card space rapidly. I do shoot RAW + jpeg at one time, and the card handles this except for when I use 3200 ISO. Some color is lost this way.
I coming back here to get two more for the beach. Both are very reliable.
