My review is on the Epson, Premium Presenation Paper MATTE Inkjet paper which is 8.5x11, 50 Sheet quantity, and has a weight of 44lb./165g/m (squared) where (m) is Squared, with a 9 Mil. thickness. I use this photo quality inkjet paper for everyday photographs, as well as fine art photography. I have been using this paper for over 20 year. For my needs, it has been a great paper. Also I use this paper on an older Epson 880 Color Stylus printer and still use this printer because the inks are very inexpensive, 2.00 for a B&W cartridge and 3.00 for a color cartridge as opposed to paying 35.00 each for replacement cartridges. I am a digital artist and photographer, so this printer with this paper enables me to experiment with my art very inexpensively. For my needs I love this paper. My only con or criticism is I would like to see it be a heavier weight paper as it is only 44lb with a 9 mil thickness. I wouldn't call this a heavy weight paper, I would more accurately describe it as a medium weight paper which is a little on the flimsy side if one is lookng for truly a heavier weight paper. I have photographs that are 15-20 years old that haven't faded, using my Epson 880 Color Stylus printer with non archival inks. If your photographs are kept out of direct sunlight they will last a very long time on this paper with non-archival inks. I highly recommend this paper for fine art photographs, and everyday use where an artist or photographer doesn't need a real heavy weight paper or a 50-100 year life span. The images on this paper will fade in about 15-20 years if stored in a room that doesn't get direct sunlight. So far, I have found Adorama to have the best prices on this paper and has given me very good customer service. I would highly recommend them. Michael Breskin, photographer and Digital Artist.

My husband uses this paper to print his wildlife photographs. Adorama is a good source for the paper when I can't find it locally. Thanks Adorama!

Good for its class

By

I use higher end papers for my fine art work (Cold Press, Exhibition Fiber, Premium Luster, etc.) But for my small reproduction prints and greeting cards this stuff works well. Has about a 25 year life with Epson Ultra Chrome K3 which is fine for the intended purposes (cards and small prints). I think the surface is not very white- not even as bright as their High Quality Inkject Paper. But I like the thickness and I'm not using it for fine art anyway.

Outstanding Photo Paper

By

from Tacoma, WA  -  Frequent User

Used this paper for photos that I printed from recent art work and attached to my Christmas cards this year. The cards with the photos looked very professional and I received several positive comments on them. The paper is heavy and the matte finish looked great with the art work. I've used this paper previously and will continue to do so for a long time.

It pays to match the paper and printer

I've found that it really makes a difference when the paper and printer comes from the same manufacturer. Epson paper is optimized for Epson printers, and the results are visible.

Shopper  can I use on laser color printer?
Michael B  I haven't tried it on a laser printer so I don't know. Either try a box of it and see. There would be no harm in trying, or call epson and ask them if this paper is compatible with laser printers. or, check your manual for your laser printer and see if it recommends various papers that can be used with your printer. or Better yet, call your laser printer manufacturer and ask them. I hope this helps. Michael B
