The powerful 8x Fujinon lens offering a 25-250 mm wide-rang, enables users to capture everything from beautiful wide-angle shots to stunning images of distant objects. FinePix JZ250 also offer a close-focusing distance of 5cm, which enables users to shoot beautiful macro images that fill the frame with detail and vibrant colors.

The FinePix JZ250 offers a 16 mega-pixel CCD sensor, perfectly capable of producing premium quality images and movie. With maximum sensitivity of ISO3200, photos appear natural and more true to life even with limited available light. High sensitivity also stops the action of high-speed moving subjects. The powerful combination of lens-shift image stabilization and high sensitivity protects against blurring from camera shake and subject motion so you can capture the moment.

In addition to capturing still images, FinePix JZ250 can also shoot movie in 720p HD at a touch of the dedicated movie record button. The Scene Recognition (SR) Auto mode automatically assesses the scene and selects the optimal settings to capture the scene in perfect detail. Scenes that can be automatically recognized by both cameras are Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Night Portrait and Backlit Portrait - covering a huge range of possible shooting scenarios. Fujifilm's Face Detection can capture up to nine faces in a single scene, making these compacts ideal for large groups or families - and as both cameras have been optimized to offer improved start-up times and users will never miss capturing images of their unforgettable moments.
