Pricey and design-flawed
I can not believe NO ONE else has noticed this obvious design flaw. The hood features open slots which sit BEHIND the 52mm filter rings.
What this means is simple.
It allows for dirt and anything else to get in BEHIND the filter. So, for someone like me who shoots from the deserts to the mountains, it is worthless. On a windy day dust/dirt/snow, etc. get in BEHIND the filter coating it and the lens.
Very unhappy with how much I paid for this. I'm still figuring out which modification will best take care of this.

Nice, but....
It looks great, but it blocks about a quarter of the view when using the viewfinder.
