I have been an HP customer more than 15yrs. I own a desktop CPU, monitor, and All-in-One inkjet printer; my printer only uses HP ink. I never worry if the ink will clot, smudge, or damage my printer. I buy the HP 901 2-pack Black/Tri-color ink cartridges because they are compatible with the printer I've been using for approximately 14 years. The cartridges are a good value and easy to install.

I would not recommend to a friend. I own HP Printer Officejet 4500. It costs me so much money in ink. Further, I extended the courtesy of returning 8 empty cartridges. I would think that HP would reward me somehow. So far, all I do is buy ink.

I bought this set of cartridges from HP store for the first time. The colour one works great but the black one prints with shadows along the letters. Even after cleaning the cartridges with the printer self cleaner and getting a clean test, there are still shadows. Am waiting for the opening of staples to get a new one.
