Kenko 0.8x Wide Angle Conversion Lens for Digital Still Cameras with a 30.5mm Mounting Thread.

The KAW-080 lens can be mounted onto any digital camera with a filter thread size of 30.5mm and can be used with the new Kenko KAC-S50 adapter to mount the lens on of the popular Canon PowerShot S-series of digital still cameras. When mounted, the KAW-080 converters the S- series digital camera's equivalent 35mm lens to a focal length equivalent to a 28mm lens (in 35mm format) without loss of image sharpness. In fact the KAW-080 superb optics maintain all the sharpness of the camera's lens. This substantially wider angle of view allows the photographer to capture much more of a scene.

The KAW-080 is constructed from high quality, precision machined aluminum and has optical glass elements that are multicoated to reduce the possibility of lens flair or reflections that could cause ghost images on the picture.
