myles h : is this battery compatible with HL-DC5 7.2V 780 Ah ??J F E : No. The HL-DC5 is an aftermarket battery for the Leica V-Lux 1and as such is not suitable for the Leica X1/X2 which require the BP-DC8.JOHN C : No idea
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?James W : I didn't have one for my camera.RYAN W : Why would one choose a spare battery. Hmm... I like small rectangular things. I think maybe I'll use it if the batter that came with the camera runs out of power when I'm out shooting. I think that would be a good use of a spare battery. Or maybe I'll try to work it in with a lego project. So many possibilities.

Genuine Leica battery.

Leica cameras are not cheap and why risk a lower quality battery? I bought a real Leica Battery from Adorama and it functions perfectly. It holds a charge and there won't be any issues. The battery was shipped to me very quickly.
