I just wanted something to protect the camera in my pocket, and yet be quick to get a shot off. This is it. It's held together magnetically, so no buckles or straps to loosen. I leave the dreaded (I don't know why) lens cap off. Very well made. Cons: Some of the controls are hard to get to. Big 'Leica' logo on the front. It would be nice to have a removable strap, most of the time I don't want the camera around my neck. No place to carry accessories like a card or battery. It doesn't get out of the picture when you open it, you need to hold the flap down. The screw that holds everything together goes into the tripod socket, so that you cannot use a little tripod without taking the case off.
